This yacht was designed and built by Derek Kelsall as a fast cruiser for an eminent brain surgeon with no expense spared. She was built and launched in 1989.
She has a winged keel, two rudders (balanced), fully battened mainsail, asymetric geniker on retractable bowspit, teak deck, electric windlass and three anchors.
Accomodation: large fore cabin with kingsize berth; toilet with shower and wash handbasin; 2 aft double cabins. Main cabin seats 8 and has a well thought out galley with two burner hob, grill and oven. Water via foot pump or electric pump. Fridge which has been known to freeze beer is well insulated and water cooled.
Engine: Bukh 24 driving yacht drive with 3 blade prop; heats water and charges 2 service 108AH batteries; 1500 hours of use.
Solar cells. Shore power with smart charger to battery banks.
Full set of instruments: speed; depth; wind and wind expanded; forward looking sonar.
Tender: a GRP 8ft swedish designed dinghy.
Sails: fully battened main; blade jib on furler; storm jib; asymetric geniker.
